Our Story
The Jogoo Housing Co-operative Society Limited (JHCS) was registered under the ministry of Co-operative Development and Marketing on 11th June 2012 vide registration no. CS/14440.
This rose from a desire by Jogoo Sacco members, who had interest in owning properties i.e. Plots, Houses or Land. They felt that, pooling resources together with a common bond would enable them acquire affordable properties in regard to economies of scale.
The Society is regulated under the Co-operative society’s Act 2008 and guided by its By-Laws, approved by the ministry of Co-operative Development and Marketing. The Housing Co-operative is managed by Nine Board members, three supervisory committee members and Staff.
